I come from a fairly arty family, lots of painters, crafters & makers, and I too have always been drawn to creative arts. Like many people my early career started in industry, but a few years ago I decided to follow my passion and give up a well paid London job to train at London College of Printing (University of Arts of London). Since graduating I haven't looked back and feel fortunate to have been able to follow my passion full time. I love to photograph people and food, but anything can inspire me; beautiful flowers, an ingredient that I am buying to cook a meal or the landscape around me whilst out cycling. Other photographer’s work also is very inspiring and I attend many exhibitions and follow my favourite photographers on-line. I also do a bit of screen printing and etching and this often fires my imagination. I take great joy in photographing people; bringing out their personality, humour and spirit in my pictures. It's also been said that I have a knack for making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Perhaps that’s a genuine affinity with my clients and desire to make them look their very best. Whatever the reason, I'm never happier than when I'm behind the lens.
